About
When a long and brutal war finally ends, Violet Evergarden is left without a purpose. Looking for work, she becomes an Auto Memory Doll, one of the writers hired to listen to people and shape their tangled feelings into letters. Traveling from client to client, she encounters grief, longing, and every form of love, and gradually begins to grasp emotions she was never taught to have, all while trying to make sense of the last words spoken to her by the one person she truly cared about.
