Hozuna (“we”, “us”) runs hozuna.com, an anime discovery and where-to-watch guide. This policy explains what limited data the site handles when you visit. We keep it deliberately small: Hozuna has no user accounts, and we don’t ask you for personal information.
Information We Collect
We don’t require you to register or submit personal details to use Hozuna. Like most websites, our hosting and network provider automatically process basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use this to identify you personally.
Cookies
We use a single functional cookie to remember that you’ve seen our cookie notice, so it doesn’t reappear on every visit. It stores no personal information and expires after about one month.
Our network provider, Cloudflare, may also set essential cookies needed for security and performance. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages people find useful, and privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics that sets no cookies at all. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.
Advertising
Hozuna currently shows no advertising of any kind. No advertising cookies are set, and no advertising vendor is loaded or receives anything about you while you use the site.
If advertising is introduced later, this page will be updated before it goes live.
Third-Party Services & Links
Cloudflare handles content delivery and security. We use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager for analytics, and a self-hosted analytics tool that sets no cookies. Hozuna's own servers query public anime data sources such as AniList. Hozuna holds no personal information about you to share, so nothing about you is shared with these services.
Our “where to watch” pages link out to streaming platforms and other third-party sites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. We aren’t responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
Children’s Privacy
Hozuna is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
