About
Ryuji Takasu is a kind, house-proud teenager cursed with a glare so fierce that everyone assumes he's a thug. Taiga Aisaka is petite, sharp-tongued, and quick to swing a wooden sword, which is how she earned her nickname as the school's Palmtop Tiger. After an embarrassing accident throws them together, the two discover an inconvenient overlap: each has a crush on the other's best friend. So they form a pact, agreeing to help one another get close to the person they like. Naturally, the more time Ryuji and Taiga spend scheming side by side, the more complicated their own feelings become.
