About

Ken Kaneki is no longer the terrified half-ghoul clinging to the last of his humanity. Hardened by torture and the monstrous strength he uncovered to survive it, he walks away from the safety of the café Anteiku to chase power on his own terms, a choice that pulls him toward the militant ghoul organization Aogiri Tree. Meanwhile, the Commission of Counter Ghoul tightens its net, its investigators piecing together the identity of the elusive eyepatched ghoul who has become a legend in Tokyo's shadows. As both sides brace for a collision, Kaneki has to decide how much of himself he's willing to lose to shield the people who still matter to him, and whether the line between man and monster was ever really there at all.
