About
Yukiteru Amano records his days on his phone and talks to Deus Ex Machina, a presence he assumes exists only in his imagination. When Deus reveals that he is real, Yukiteru's diary begins reporting events before they happen. Eleven other people possess diaries with their own kinds of foresight, and all twelve are placed in a deadly competition. The survivor will take Deus's place as god of time. Yukiteru soon depends on his classmate Yuno Gasai, whose remarkable commitment to protecting him is also a reason to fear her. Because no diary offers a complete picture, each prediction can conceal the detail that ruins a plan. The Future Diary follows Yukiteru as he studies his opponents and survives their traps while deciding how much trust he can place in his most capable ally.
