About

Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf, is a village of ninja — and Naruto Uzumaki is its loudest, most overlooked resident. What almost no one lets him forget is why: on the night he was born, a monstrous Nine-Tailed Fox tore through the village, and the Fourth Hokage gave his life to lock the beast away inside the infant boy. Growing up branded by that secret, Naruto is kept at arm's length by neighbors who can't see past the creature he carries. He answers that loneliness with sheer, stubborn defiance, fixing his sights on the one title that would make the whole village acknowledge him: Hokage, its strongest and most trusted leader. What follows is coming-of-age shounen at its most iconic — a scrappy underdog's road through grueling training, the friends and rivals who shape him, and a slow, hard climb toward belonging.

Seasons & Watch Order

Naruto is best watched in release order, and the path is refreshingly simple. Start here with the original 220-episode series, which follows Naruto's early years as a ninja-in-training from the very beginning. When you reach the end, the story continues directly in Naruto: Shippuuden, the sequel that carries his journey forward. The theatrical films are self-contained side stories — fun extras you can slot in once you know the cast, but never required to follow the main plot.
