Tsuki ga Kirei
Tsuki ga Kirei streams on Crunchyroll, and it's one of the most authentic first-love stories anime has ever told. Following two shy middle schoolers as they nervously navigate a budding relationship, it captures the awkward, breathless reality of young romance with rare honesty. Quiet and deeply sincere, it's a small masterpiece of the genre.
About
In their final year of middle school, a bookish boy who dreams of writing novels and a dedicated track runner end up in the same class for the first time. Thrown together by a school festival assignment, Kotaro and Akane slowly grow closer through hesitant text messages and stolen moments. But young love is rarely simple: a classmate has long carried a torch for Akane, and one of her friends starts to notice Kotaro, complicating the tender, fragile thing the two are just beginning to build.
