About
Tatsumi is a naive country boy who marches to the glittering capital to earn money for his starving village, only to discover the city runs on corruption, cruelty, and the whims of a decadent court. He falls in with Night Raid, the assassination wing of a growing rebellion, whose members wield cursed superweapons called Imperial Arms. Fighting alongside killers who each carry their own scars, Tatsumi learns that toppling an empire means trading blows with equally deadly enforcers — and that on this battlefield, being a hero is no guarantee you'll live to see the next fight.
