Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Kobayashi's quiet routine becomes much stranger once a devoted dragon decides to work as her maid. Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix carry the series. This 2017 TV season has 13 episodes at 24 minutes each, so it fits comfortably into a weekend without feeling rushed. Kyoto Animation gives the domestic comedy an expressive visual rhythm, while the fantasy premise keeps everyday chores unpredictable. Watch it if you enjoy slice of life stories where affection develops through shared meals, minor mishaps, and the gradual creation of a household.
About
Following a drunken encounter in the mountains, office worker Kobayashi discovers that the dragon she met has taken her invitation seriously. The visitor assumes a human form, calls herself Tohru, and moves in as Kobayashi's enthusiastic maid. Tohru understands power far better than housework, which turns routine domestic life into comedy. Other dragons begin appearing around them, each with a different response to humans and their customs. Beneath the magical commotion, the story follows two outsiders learning what it means to make room for someone else in their lives.
