About
After one very drunken night in the mountains, systems engineer Kobayashi wakes to a knock: the enormous dragon she apparently befriended has arrived to make good on a promise, transforming into a maid named Tohru and moving in. Tohru's housekeeping runs on draconic logic, her devotion to Kobayashi is boundless, and word spreads fast — soon more dragons are dropping into the neighborhood, from pint-sized Kanna, who enrolls in elementary school, to far pricklier visitors with opinions about humans. Under the gag-comedy surface is a surprisingly tender story about lonely beings building a home together.
