About
In a divided near-future, the sport of Megalo Boxing pits fighters strapped into powered exoskeletons called Gear against one another. A nameless underground boxer known only as 'Junk Dog' throws rigged matches in grimy dens for pocket change — until a humiliating run-in with the reigning champion lights a fire in him. Casting off his machinery to fight as 'Gearless Joe,' he sets out to climb from the very bottom of society into the sport's biggest tournament, with nothing but raw will and his own two fists. Draped in a deliberately grainy, throwback aesthetic, it's a classic underdog story told with grit and style.
