About
Generations after humanity nearly went extinct against the giant alien Zentradi, survivors set out across the stars in colossal colony fleets. On the Macross Frontier fleet, high schooler Alto Saotome — a former stage actor who longs for the real sky — has his life upended when the fleet is ambushed mid-concert by a terrifying new alien threat. Thrown into the cockpit of a cutting-edge variable fighter, he ends up protecting Ranka Lee, a shy aspiring singer, while the galaxy-famous diva Sheryl Nome is swept into the same war.
