In a dark-fantasy frontier where adventurers take guild contracts to make a living, most heroes chase glory, gold, and dragons. Goblin Slayer chases goblins, the low-ranked vermin nearly everyone dismisses until a village pays the price for that complacency. Clad in grimy armor and armed with whatever a job demands, he approaches every den as a problem to be solved coldly and completely. The sequel keeps him at the center of his familiar party, the devoted Priestess, the High Elf Archer, and their comrades, as new requests draw them into fresh danger. It stays true to the first season's tone: grounded, unglamorous, and unflinching about what fighting monsters actually costs the people who do it.
