About
As kids, Mutta and Hibito swore they'd both walk on other worlds. Decades later, Hibito is an astronaut headed for the Moon — and Mutta has just been fired from his car-design job for headbutting his boss. Jobless, ashamed, and living with his parents, Mutta gets a push from his brother to apply to the astronaut selection program, and the series becomes something rare: a long, patient, deeply human account of a grown man earning a second shot at his childhood dream. The selection exams are as gripping as any tournament arc, and Mutta himself — anxious, brilliant, self-sabotaging, hilarious — is one of anime's best adult protagonists.
