Hinamatsuri streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and it's a criminally underrated deadpan comedy. When a mysterious super-powered girl crash-lands into the life of a young yakuza, the result is an odd-couple sitcom with surprising warmth and some of the sharpest gags around. About
Nitta is a comfortable young member of the yakuza whose orderly life is upended when a strange girl named Hina abruptly materializes in his apartment, wielding formidable psychic powers and a flat, demanding attitude. Rather than fight a losing battle, he reluctantly takes her in, and the mismatched pair settles into an unlikely domestic routine.
