About
Sakuta and Mai have found a measure of calm in Fujisawa when Shouko, the girl who once helped Sakuta, returns in an impossible form. A younger Shouko and an adult Shouko now seem to exist at the same time. Her arrival unsettles Sakuta's daily life with Mai, while the old wound on his chest begins troubling him again. The film uses Adolescence Syndrome to turn an intimate romantic conflict into a supernatural dilemma about love and sacrifice.
