Lupin III

About

Lupin III follows a supremely confident thief who treats every difficult target as an invitation. His schemes bring him together with the sharpshooter Jigen, the elusive Fujiko, and the swordsman Goemon, while Inspector Zenigata keeps chasing the group from one escapade to the next. A job may begin with careful planning, but conflicting motives and Lupin's appetite for risk usually send events in a wilder direction. The series keeps its stories light on continuity and gives each episode room for a fresh pursuit, escape, or reversal. Its comedy comes from the crew's clashing personalities as much as the capers themselves, while the adventure supplies momentum without demanding a long serialized investment.
