About
In a city where people can erupt without warning into blazing monsters called Infernals, elite fire brigades are all that stand between the public and the flames. Shinra Kusakabe, a young pyrokinetic known for a nervous grin he can't control and the ability to set his feet alight, signs on with the eighth of these special companies. What begins as monster-of-the-week firefighting gradually opens into something larger, as Shinra starts to suspect that the outbreaks tearing through the city, and the fire that destroyed his family years earlier, are no accident at all.
