About

The nations of Westalis and Ostania have simmered in a decades-long cold war, and the agency WISE assigns its sharpest operative, code name Twilight, to get close to Donovan Desmond, the National Unity Party chairman whose ambitions threaten any hope of peace. The complication: Desmond only surfaces at events tied to the elite school his son attends, so Twilight is given one week to build a convincing household and enroll a child there. Adopting the cover identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger, he takes in a small girl named Anya and weds a woman named Yor. What he never discovers is that Anya can quietly read minds and Yor moonlights as a contract killer, and neither of them knows his true profession either. The joy of the series is watching this 'normal' family keep three enormous secrets under one roof while genuinely growing closer.
