About
Lina Inverse is a teenage sorcery prodigy with a simple business model: find bandits, blow them up, take their treasure. It's practically charity. Her life of profitable mayhem gets complicated when she picks up Gourry — a swordsman with divine reflexes and a brain like an empty tavern — as an unwanted bodyguard, and their road trip immediately attracts cursed artifacts, dark lords, and every variety of magical trouble. Under the gags, the show can swing surprisingly hard: when the demon lords come out, Slayers reminds you why Lina's name scares people.
