About
Yato is a minor god with no shrine, no worshippers, and no money, scrawling his phone number on walls and taking any job — from finding lost cats to fighting monsters — for a five-yen offering. When a schoolgirl named Hiyori shoves him out of the path of a bus, her soul comes loose from her body, slipping half into the spirit world. To set her right, she's stuck helping Yato, who soon takes on a troubled young spirit named Yukine as his sacred weapon. What starts as comic misadventure deepens into a story about belonging, guilt, and what it means to be remembered.
