In this world, Japan's business elite settle their biggest deals the old-fashioned way: hired fighters, no weapons, winner takes the contract. Into the Kengan matches walks Ohma Tokita — a young man of unknown origin who fights like demolition and wants nothing but stronger opponents. Managing him (reluctantly, sweatily) is Kazuo Yamashita, a middle-aged salaryman whose ordinary decency makes him the perfect eyes for this absurd world. The series barrels toward a colossal tournament where every corporation fields its monster, and the fight variety — assassins, doctors, musclebound CEOs, ancient styles — is the entire point. It's pro-wrestling booking with martial-arts obsession, and it rules.
