Assassination Classroom
Assassination Classroom streams on Crunchyroll, and its premise is one of the best hooks in anime: a class of underachievers is ordered to murder their own teacher, a grinning, tentacled super-being who also happens to be the best mentor they've ever had. What sounds like a gag show becomes a surprisingly heartfelt story about kids everyone else wrote off discovering their own worth. The comedy is sharp, the assassination gimmicks are endlessly inventive, and the ending absolutely earns its tears.
About
The students of Class 3-E are their school's designated failures, banished to a run-down building and treated as lost causes. Then they're handed the strangest assignment imaginable: assassinate their new homeroom teacher. He's a grinning yellow creature with tentacles who moves at impossible speeds and has already torn a chunk out of the moon, promising to do the same to the planet within the year unless his class can kill him first. The catch is that he's also the most patient, attentive teacher any of them have ever had, and the year they spend trying to end him quietly becomes the year that makes them.
