About
A deadly virus leaves children among the few human survivors, and vampires take advantage of the collapse by keeping them underground as a captive food supply. One boy escapes with a fierce desire to wipe out his former captors. Back among humans, he joins a military force preparing to fight the vampires and recover what was lost. Training gives his rage a purpose, though working beside others proves harder than swinging a weapon. The season follows his first steps into that conflict while leaving the larger mysteries and war open for later development.
