About
Nao Kanzaki is so guileless she can barely tell a lie, which makes her the last person who should ever be handed an invitation to the Liar Game. One day a package simply appears on her doorstep: a hundred million yen in cash and a notice enrolling her in a shadowy tournament where players win by swindling each other out of money and losers walk away buried in crushing debt. Predictably, Nao is fleeced almost the moment she agrees to play. Desperate and completely out of her depth, she tracks down Shinichi Akiyama, a freshly released con artist infamous for toppling an entire corporation, and begs for his help.
