About
Claus and Lavie make a living carrying messages across Prester in their small vanship. Routine flights already demand nerve, but their interest in the violent Grand Stream hints at ambitions beyond courier work. When a failed delivery leaves them responsible for a quiet girl named Alvis, they become entangled in a war between two nations and the forces shaping it. Their path eventually takes them aboard a much larger vessel, where unfamiliar customs and hidden machinery change their understanding of the conflict. The story keeps its focus on the bond between two flying partners and the weight of protecting a passenger wanted by opposing sides.
