Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero streams on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video. The franchise hands the spotlight to Piccolo and Gohan for once — and the result is one of the most character-fresh Dragon Ball films in decades.
About
The Red Ribbon Army — the syndicate a young Goku once dismantled — never fully died. Its inheritors have built two new ultimate androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, who style themselves 'Super Heroes' and open their campaign by targeting Piccolo. With Goku and Vegeta training off-world, Earth's defense falls to its perpetual second string: Piccolo, the gruff mentor who quietly became the franchise's best father figure, and Gohan, the scholar whose warrior edge has dulled behind a desk. The film mines real warmth and comedy from their dynamic — Piccolo's exasperated scheming to reawaken his student is half the runtime — before the Red Ribbon legacy forces both to answer what they're actually protecting.
