About
A great civil war split Japan into Kansai and Kanto, and in Kansai's vertical neon sprawl, the worst criminals carry a rank: Akudama. When a mysterious black cat assembles six of them — a courier, a brawler, a hacker, a doctor, a cutthroat, and a hooligan, each known only by their specialty — for an impossible job, an ordinary girl gets swept into the crew through sheer bad luck and has to pass herself off as a master swindler to survive. The heist is only the opening act. What the job actually protects, and what the gleaming city is willing to do to keep its secrets, turns a crime romp into something much darker and stranger.
