# Where to Watch The Future Diary

**The Future Diary turns advance knowledge into a liability as often as an advantage. Crunchyroll carries the complete TV series. Released in 2011, the finished anime has 26 episodes at 23 minutes each, so viewers can follow its central contest from its setup through its conclusion. The experience is tense and violent, with a knowingly heightened tone. Every diary reveals a different slice of the future, which makes confrontations feel like contests over missing information rather than simple fights. The supernatural rules provide structure, while unstable alliances keep upsetting careful plans. The Future Diary works best for viewers who enjoy survival stories under psychological pressure, especially when relationships are charged with distrust. Its horror can be graphic, and its characters often make emotionally extreme choices. That volatility is a defining part of the show rather than a detour from the mystery.**

## Synopsis

Yukiteru Amano records his days on his phone and talks to Deus Ex Machina, a presence he assumes exists only in his imagination. When Deus reveals that he is real, Yukiteru's diary begins reporting events before they happen. Eleven other people possess diaries with their own kinds of foresight, and all twelve are placed in a deadly competition. The survivor will take Deus's place as god of time. Yukiteru soon depends on his classmate Yuno Gasai, whose remarkable commitment to protecting him is also a reason to fear her. Because no diary offers a complete picture, each prediction can conceal the detail that ruins a plan. The Future Diary follows Yukiteru as he studies his opponents and survives their traps while deciding how much trust he can place in his most capable ally.
