# Where to Watch Dandadan

**You can stream Dandadan on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix, and if you've been meaning to start the show everyone won't stop talking about, this is exactly where it begins. It tosses vengeful ghosts, invading aliens, and first love into one blender and hits every button at once, with animation that stretches, snaps, and shape-shifts like nothing else around, turning a petty bet between two stubborn teenagers into one of the most electric debut seasons in recent memory.**

All three of Dandadan's homes, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix, carry the season, so pick whichever subscription you already keep. ## Synopsis

Momo Ayase is a sharp-tongued high schooler raised among spirit mediums; she'll defend the existence of ghosts to her last breath but rolls her eyes at anything to do with aliens. Her classmate, a jittery occult obsessive the internet knows as Okarun, believes the exact opposite. Their feud over who's right sends each of them off to prove the other wrong: Momo toward a rumored UFO hotspot, Okarun into a tunnel with a nasty reputation. Both are completely wrong about being right. What they stumble into is stranger and scarier than anything they pictured, and clawing their way back out drags powers neither knew they had to the surface. A stupid schoolyard argument mutates into a messy, monster-strewn adventure, plus the first unmistakable flickers of two people falling for each other.

## If You Liked This

- **[Chainsaw Man](https://hozuna.com/anime/chainsaw-man)** — The closest sibling Dandadan has, another Shonen Jump blender where supernatural horror, filthy humor, and doomed teenage longing all crowd into the same frame. If you love that Dandadan refuses to sit still tonally, Denji's devil-hunting chaos will feel like coming home.
- **[Jujutsu Kaisen](https://hozuna.com/anime/jujutsu-kaisen)** — Okarun spends the season learning to wrestle a curse into a weapon, and Jujutsu Kaisen is the definitive take on that idea: cursed spirits, exorcists, and some of the cleanest fight choreography in modern shonen. Come for the supernatural throwdowns, stay for a cast you'll get far too attached to.
- **[Demon Slayer](https://hozuna.com/anime/demon-slayer)** — If Dandadan's animation is what hooked you, the way a scuffle can suddenly detonate into pure spectacle, Demon Slayer scratches that exact itch. It pairs breathtaking supernatural battles against demons with a surprisingly tender emotional core.
- **[Kaguya-sama: Love Is War](https://hozuna.com/anime/kaguya-sama-love-is-war)** — Strip away the aliens and the yokai and Dandadan is really about two stubborn kids who can't admit they like each other, which happens to be Kaguya-sama's entire premise, weaponized into a hilarious battle of romantic wills. Perfect if Momo and Okarun's push-and-pull is the part you're actually here for.
