# Where to Watch Clannad

**Clannad streams on HIDIVE and Amazon Prime Video, and it's the beginning of one of anime's most beloved emotional epics. Tomoya is a disaffected delinquent drifting through his last year of high school when he meets Nagisa, a gentle girl repeating the grade, and slowly finds himself pulled back toward caring about something again. Tomoya Okazaki has checked out of his own life. His mother is gone, his relationship with his father has soured into cold distance, and he coasts through his senior year as an aimless troublemaker. Then, on the walk to school, he meets Nagisa Furukawa, a shy girl held back a year by illness and left behind by the friends who moved on without her.
